Experience matters. That’s why I will be voting for Donna Gow for Bonner County assessor. Donna is the only person running who has the experience to do this job.

As a real estate broker for over 30 years it is clear to me how important it is to have an assessor who understands all aspects of the appraisal process. The appraiser must know how to evaluate a property as to its fair market value and must understand which appraisal method to use for different types of properties. I also know that this process involves knowing all the different areas of the county and understanding the values as they pertain to each particular area.

With 27 years on the job, Donna has mastered these skills. Her long history living in Bonner County gives her a unique perspective as well.

The last thing this county needs is an assessor with no experience in this specialized field. How can you supervise your workforce without this knowledge or any understanding of this work? I want someone who is qualified to supervise the staff so that I receive a fair and accurate assessed value of my property. That person is Donna Gow.
