Bulldogs win boys and girls 4x800 relays at Christina Finney Relays

POST FALLS — Hannah Davidson won the 800, ran a leg on the winning 4x800 relay, and was second in the pole vault to lead Sandpoint to a fifth place finish among eight teams on Wednesday at the Christina Finney Relays in Post Falls.

The girls 4x800 team of Davidson, Bionce Vincent, Kali Scheel and Ciera Bailey picked up a win, as did the boys 4x800 team of Sloan Woodward, Kyle Almeida, Garrett Pierce and Kieran Wilder.

T.J. Davis was second in the 110 hurdles, Niah Brass ran a PR to finish second in the 1,600, and Maddie Morgan was second in the triple jump and fourth in the long jump (14-3) for the Bulldogs.

Other top five finishes for the Bulldogs included Julian Barajas running a PR for 3rd in the 200, Kieran Wilder clocking a PR in the 3,200 for third, while Heather Wallace was 4th in the 1,600 (5:43), Ammon Ollerton was fourth in the high jump (5-8) and triple jump (PR of 39-8), Jazmin Stockton was fourth in the 100 (13.04) and 200 (27.22) and Corina Wallace was fourth in the 3,200 (13:03).

“We finally got a nice weather day,” said Bulldogs head coach Matt Brass.

Sandpoint is at the Priest River Invitational on Saturday, starting at 10 a.m.
