Constantin, Lowery lead Wampus Cats in opener

WALLACE — Josh Constantin won the 100 meters and finished third in the high jump to lead the Clark Fork boys, Kristi Lowery won the 3,200 and Sara Hathaway tied her school record by clearing 5-0 to win the high jump to lead the Wampus Cat girls on Tuesday at the Wallace Invite.

Clearing 5-0 this early in the year is a good sign for Hathaway, who also won the 100 hurdles and finished third in the 100. The Wampus Cat girls finished third out of seven teams and the boys finished fourth.

Clark Fork is at the Priest River Invitational on Saturday, then hosts a North Star League meet next Tuesday.
