April 16

An officer was unable to locate a male reported to be on the bike trail acting oddly in the area of Highway 2 and Northview Drive at 5:41 a.m.

A 14-year-old Sandpoint male was arrested on a Bonner County warrant in the 400 block of S. Division Avenue at 8:03 a.m.

Accidental 911 activation was reported on Turbine Drive at 10:08 a.m.

An informational report was filed in the 1100 block of Birch Street at 10:43 a.m.

Officers, EMS and Selkirk Fire responded to an minor-injury accident reported in the area of N. Division Avenue and Oak Street at 2:25 p.m.

An officer facilitated the exchange of information at a fender bender in the 200 block of S. First Avenue at 3:03 p.m.

An officer was unable to contact a citizen who wanted to report her backpack stolen from the 200 block of S. First Avenue at 3:10 p.m.; it was found later that day by another officer.

An officer spoke to a male and female at the police department regarding Facebook issues at 4:59 p.m.

A dog found in the area of S. Lincoln Avenue and Ontario Street was transported to the shelter by a citizen at 4:54 p.m.

Suspicious circumstances were reported in the alley between Jefferson Avenue and Church Street at 5:31 p.m.

A backpack was found in the 200 block of S. First Avenue at 7:42 p.m.; an officer advised that no contact number was found for the owner.

Officers checked a building in the 1300 block of W. Superior Street at 9:19 p.m. at the request of the owners. Nothing out of the ordinary was found.

PONDERAY POLICE

April 16

An officer investigated a report of a reckless driver in the 480000 block of Highway 95 at 11:38 a.m.

An officer assisted Bonner County deputies in the 466000 block of Highway 95 at 2:09 p.m.

Alisha G. Sims, 31, of Bonners Ferry was arrested in the 476900 block of Highway 95 at 2:52 p.m. on a charge of petit theft.

An officer and EMS responded to assist another agency on Larkspur Street at 7:26 p.m.

PRIEST RIVER POLICE

April 16

A VIN inspection was conducted on High Street at 10:33 a.m.

A felony warrant arrest was reported in the area of Highway 2 and Bodie Canyon Road at 5:22 p.m.
