Deputies assisted Sandpoint Police on Railroad Depot Road at 2:32 a.m.

ITD responded to a reported traffic hazard on Highway 200 in the Clark Fork area at 4:09 a.m.

SANDPOINT POLICE

April 17

Officers contacted a juvenile male on Woodland Drive after a report of suicide threats at 7:31 a.m.; he was released to his parents.

A 14-year-old Sandpoint male was arrested in the 400 block of Division Avenue at 8:53 a.m. on a charge of possession of marijuana in the 400 block.

Officers were canceled on scene in the 500 block of N. Third Avenue at 7:31 a.m. after a report of an attempted suicide; the situation was under control when they arrived

A resident in the 900 block of Ridley Village Road wanted to report possible harassment at 9:52 a.m.

A civil protection order violation was reported in the 400 block of Division Avenue at 10:01 a.m.

A VIN was verified in the 4100 block of Samuelson Avenue at 10:39 a.m.

Unfounded report of an emergency in the 600 block of Division Avenue at 12:37 p.m.

A vehicle in the 1200 block of Main Street was tagged for 48-hour removal at 12:43 p.m.

A follow-up report was taken on Ridley Village Road at 12:51 p.m.

Officers located the suspect vehicle in a reported aggressive driving incident in the Highway 2 area at 2:53 p.m. but were unable to locate the driver.

Accidental 911 activation was reported on Boyer Road at 2:46 p.m.

Accidental 911 activation was reported on Sixth Avenue at 5:25 p.m.

An officer answered a citizen’s questions in the 1200 block of Lake Street at 5:56 p.m.

An officer spoke to a couple of young juveniles about riding their scooters in the Juniper Drive area at 6:42 p.m.

Damage was reported to a vehicle in the 1000 block of Ella Avenue at 6:41 p.m.

A case was assigned to cover an agency assist on Lake Street at 5:22 p.m.

A male reported as suspicious at 8:08 p.m. was contacted in the 600 block of Superior Street and identified. He was living in the area.

A juvenile returned home to the 500 block of First Avenue while the officer was still at the residence at 8:19 p.m.

April 18

A male and a female were escorted off an Amtrak train on Railroad Depot Road at 2:32 a.m. after causing problems.

After an alarm was reported in the 200 block of Superior Street at 3:46 a.m., an officer advised the building was secure.

A disorderly female was asked to leave the 500 block of Third Avenue at 5:02 a.m. and did so.

An officer responded to a report of an unlocked building in the 1000 block of Fontaine Drive at 3:51 p.m.
