Live & Learn programs set

The Priest River Library will offer two Live & Learn programs in late April and early May.

On Saturday, April 28 at 10:30 a.m., join Master Food Preserver Katie Crill, who will answer canning questions and discuss boiling waterbath canning and pressure canning. Learn recommended canning techniques and hints on how to determine if old canning recipes are risky or safe.

Registration is not required.

On Thursday, May 3, at 5 p.m. Randy Haa of Whimsical Glass will return to help create a beautiful fused glass suncatcher. Randy will guide participants through the process, fire the pieces in her kiln, then return them to the library for pickup. There is a $5 materials charge for this class.
