Stolen logging skidder recovered

PRIEST RIVER — A logging skidder that was stolen earlier this month has been recovered, according to Bonner County sheriff’s officials.

Officials said in a post to Facebook that the theft remains under investigation.

The John Deere 648 GIII skidder was taken on Aug. 8 or Aug. 9. from the 2700 block of Eastside Road. Investigators suspect a lowboy trailer was used to commit the theft
