Sharks swim team to hold bake sale fundraiser

SANDPOINT — Get some yummy treats while supporting local youth swimming, as the Sandpoint Sharks swim team will be holding a Bake Sale on Saturday, Aug. 18 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Farmer’s Market in Sandpoint.

The Sharks are a year-round swim team coached by former Sandpoint High School head coach Mike Brosnahan. The successful youth swim program has produced multiple Idaho State champions and Division 1 college swimmers, and feeds the highly-successful Bulldog swim team.

Among the fare for sale will be brownies, breads, cookies, cinnamon rolls and a large selection of other scrumptious, baked goods. The team can only accept donations, which will go toward travel expenses, swim gear and other swim team costs.
