In a recent letter, a thoughtful writer asked, “What line could Trump cross that would lead his supporters to stop supporting him?” I can’t speak for all Trump supporters, but I have a hunch that there many actions of past administrations, that if committed by Trump, his supporters would dump him.

1. They might quit supporting him if he had non-consensual sex with a number of women, lied about it, and then capped it all off by spraying semen on the dress of a young female intern in the Oval Office and lying about that, too. (Clinton in the White House.)

2. They might quit supporting him if he invaded another country without congressional authority and with no realistic cause leading to the murder that country’s leader and disintegration of its infrastructure. (Obama in Libya.)

3. And dump Trump if that horrible decision which went terribly wrong and terrorists in the country killed the ambassador and four defending Marines, Trump would lie about the cause, insist that his U.N. ambassador must also lie, and then in the cover up ensure that a videographer is blamed and locked up. (Akoula Basseley Nakoula)

4. They might not support Trump if against the dire advice of every one of his generals, he destabilized a liberated country by withdrawing all troops and then simply watched as that country disintegrated. (Obama’s Iraq).

5. They might dump Trump if he boasted and threatened to draw a “red line” if a country used poison gas and then did nothing to back it up as poisoning of civilians continued. (Obama Syria threat)

6. Or dump Trump if he attempted to put into place a new government health bureaucracy that would likely eventually gobble up a third of our economy, only to later have its self-proclaimed “author” brag that it passed because of “ Lack of transparency” and “ It passed because of the stupidity of the American voter,” (Johnathan Gruber).

7. Or dump Trump attempted to sway the elections in countries all over the world through the flow of money from the U.S. State Department and the USAID. (Obama’s State Dept. attempting to sway elections in Egypt, Israel, Yemen, Pakistan.)

8) Or abandon Trump if he tried to claim he restored the economic health of the country when, after eight years in the office, the quarterly GNP never rose above 2.6 percent and unemployment rose from 7.8 percent to 9.9 percent. (Obama).
