Deprez, Larson, Hicks compete at IJGA districts

POST FALLS — Sandpoint sophomores CeCe Deprez and Hattie Larson posted solid showings recently at the Idaho Junior Golf Association district tournament at The Links Golf Course.
Deprez opened with a sizzling 84 on the first day, second lowest among the more than 25 girls competing, before following with a 95 the next day to finish fifth overall.
Larson posted her first score in the 80s with a second day 89 to finish sixth overall. The two will be part of a strong Bulldog varsity girls golf team next spring.
Martina Hicks was the only other local player competing, carding a pair of 95s in the tournament, which golfers had to qualify for.
