It is very upsetting to me to watch TV news and read the newspapers about all of these young people who are in gangs, killing one another or being killed by police.

It seems they have no purpose, no respect, no education or guidance of any kind in their lives. Maybe the draft should be implemented for all young people male and female who are 18 years old to go into the service. At age 16 they would need to register for the draft and then at age 18 they could choose which branch they will enter into either Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines or Coast Guard, unless they are currently registered and attending college full time.

Perhaps this would teach our young people how to respect themselves and others plus put a value on their lives as well as others. Maybe something like this could help as so many of these kids end up in jail or dead. But something has to be done with these young people. Currently all of the prisons in this country are full mostly of black people and Latinos. It is not getting better it is getting worse.
