Dam ops update is set for Aug. 29

PRIEST RIVER — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is hosting a meeting to update the community on operations at the Albeni Falls Dam on Aug. 29.

The meeting is set for 6 p.m. at the Priest River Event Center, 5399 Highway 2.

Discussion topics include current and upcoming operations, this fall’s drafting of Lake Pend Oreille, lake level coordination and weather forecasts. There will also be a question-and-answer period.
