Lt. Gov. Brad Little presented the bi-annual Tribute to Women Awards to outstanding members of the Idaho Federation of Republican Women on Saturday, June 30, in Pocatello at the Tribute to Women Breakfast, held in conjunction with the Idaho Republican Convention. The Tribute to Women Award, which originated in the 1980s, is the highest award presented by the IFRW to Republican women volunteers.

North Idaho Federated Republican Women honored Jenise Eskridge for her leadership in the club’s Caring for America project of collecting pop top tabs for the Ronald McDonald House in Boise.

“We are fortunate to have Jenise as a member and are honored to have her represent our club,” NIFRW President Mary Jo Ambrosiani said.

Linda Alt from Bonners Ferry accepted the award for Jenise, who was unable to attend the breakfast.

North Idaho Federated Republican Women meet sat 5:30 p.m. every second Thursday of the month at their new location, the East Bonner County Library, in Sandpoint. For information, telephone Mary Jo Ambrosiani at 208-265-0670; email deburrqueen@cygnusaero.com or visit their website, nifrw.com. Meetings will resume in the fall.

The Idaho Federation of Republican Women promotes Republican principles and educates Republican women in the governmental process. The federation provides assistance to local Republican women’s clubs.
