Jerome Leen-Whitewater, 33, of Priest River, was cited in the 600 block of Le Clerc Road in Oldtown at 12:42 a.m. on a charge of driving without privileges.

Suspicious circumstances were reported on Highway 2 in the greater Sandpoint area at 4:06 a.m.

Aug. 8

A vehicle was reported damaged in the 300 block of N. Third Avenue at 1:12 p.m.

An officer was unable to locate a wanted subject reported to be in the 100 block of Sixth Avenue at 1:06 p.m.

Three males were contacted in the 600 block of Ruth Avenue and advised to obtain a peddler’s license after a complaint of suspicious circumstances at 3:54 p.m.

An unspecified traffic violation was reported on Hickory Street at 7:05 p.m.

A 16-year-old Sandpoint female was transported from Honeysuckle Avenue to JDU and her warrant served at 7:25 p.m.

Report of a lost wallet in the 100 block of Bridge Street at 7:44 p.m.

After a DUI investigation in the area of Sixth and Pine at 8:17 p.m., the driver was released without charges.

An officer was unable to locate a reported reckless driver on Bridge Street at 8:43 p.m.

Earle W. Shofstall, 46, of Sagle was arrested in the 200 block of Main Street at 10:29 p.m. on a charge of driving under the influence.

An officer assisted Ponderay Police on Larkspur Street at 11:20 p.m.

An officer responded to suspicious vehicle report in the 300 block of S. First Avenue at 11:25 p.m.

Officers and EMS responded to the Jefferson Avenue area at 3:25 a.m. for a report of possible accidental overdose on medication after surgery
