We need to give credit to our Bonner County law enforcement. Bonner County is a changing environment. We have murders, hard drugs, and much more that many of us are unaware of in our sheltered lives. I recently had a traffic stop and although I did not agree with how I felt it should be handled or the outcome. These hard working men and women take great risk every day that they report to duty so that we can live a sheltered life in this beautiful county.

Our population explodes each tourist season and many times we expect the local law enforcement to immediately know the locals from the non locals based on a 7B plate, but they dont really know who is driving or what they are encountering at a stop. So give them respect and appreciate that they are out there each day protecting us.
