A recent “My Turn” column (Daily Bee, Aug. 23) entitled “How to deal with the smoke impacting area” offered some potential helpful remedies for those who may be adversely affected by the smoke in the air. I was surprised that the author used this article as a segue into her advocacy of the global warming mantra: “human contribution to climate change.”

Global warming, of course, is a debatable subject. Another view might be found at The Petition Project (petitionproject.org). Over 32,000 scientists have signed this petition, over 9,000 of them with PhDs proclaiming that man is not the chief cause of warming and that this warming will not be disastrous. But aside from that, this global warming idea has been the excuse for internationalists to advance sustainable development which is code for Agenda 21 and Agenda 2030. Behind the scenes of that movement is the control of all natural resources of every member country of the IMF by means of debt-for-nature swaps, for example. It is, in essence, top-down control of everything, elimination of natural property rights and a redistribution of wealth which is communism.
