How to find and live a life of meaning and purpose will be discussed at Lifetree Café on Monday, Sept. 3, at 2 p.m.
The program, titled “Living a Rich Life: Finding Meaning and Purpose,” features a filmed interview with Christine Garde, a woman who left an influential political position to launch a gang diversion program by moving into an urban gang-infested neighborhood.
“It utterly changed my life. It was the hardest thing I ever did and the best thing I ever did,” says Garde. “Suddenly I was experiencing joy and passion for the first time.”
During the program participants have the opportunity to discuss times they have felt fulfillment in their own lives.
Admission to the 60-minute event is free. Lifetree Café meets at Jalapenos, 314 N. Second Ave., Sandpoint.
