Joy moved to California in 1957 with her sister, Patsy. Joy worked in the banking industry before marrying Jack L. Garner on December 24, 1970. Joy is also survived by her sister, Jacquita Co;, eight nieces and nephews; and numerous extended family members in California, Idaho, Georgia, Wyoming and Washington state.
Joy was the most loving, generous and kind mother, wife, grandmother and friend anyone could ever ask for. Her name was perfect for her, as she was a “Joy” to all she met. She will be missed more than words can express. We are confident we will see her again.
