Lake Pend Oreille High School was represented recently at Women in Science held at the University of Idaho Coeur d’Alene campus. Four young women from Brenda Woodward’s science classes, Nicole Smith, front, and from top left, Nyesha Fleming, Kayla Miller and Kaitlyn Furin, were given a task to determine the best water filtration material versus cost effectiveness.
