Since 1977, the Love and Logic Institute has been dedicated to making parenting and teaching fun and rewarding, instead of stressful and chaotic. The institute provides practical tools and techniques that help adults achieve respectful healthy relationships with their children and help them prepare their kids for the real world. All of the Love and Logic Institute’s work is based on a psychologically sound parenting and teaching philosophy called Love and Logic.
Love and Logic uses humor, hope, and empathy to build up the adult-child relationship and emphasizes respect and dignity both for children and adults.
L&L also provides real limits in a loving way, teaches consequences and healthy decision making, allows children to grow through their mistakes, and allows them to live with the consequences of their choices.
It offers answer to such questions as:
- “How do I get them out of bed in time to catch the school bus?”
- “How can I stop my children from bickering and fighting?”
- “How can I get my children to do chores without an argument?”
- How can I get my teenage daughter to come home at an agreed upon time?”
And helps parents deal with many other day-to-day challenges.
