Area man dies in snowmobile crash

OLDTOWN — A Bonner County man died Sunday, Dec. 23, as a result of a snowmobile crash on Reeder Creek Road, according to Idaho State Police.

ISP said Benjamin S. Millward, 39, of Oldtown was westbound at about 2:26 p.m. on Reeder Creek Road on a 2015 Polaris snowmobile when he failed to negotiate a left-hand turn. Millward was ejected from the snowmobile and came to rest on a snowbank where he succumbed to his injuries.

An investigation into the accident is continuing.
