Banks' strong night not enough in loss to Knights

| February 2, 2018 12:00 AM

CLARK FORK — Kobe Banks put up 29 points, seven rebounds, four assists and three steals, but it wasn’t enough, as the Knights posted a solid 85-63 win over the Wampus Cats on Senior Night at Clark Fork High School.

Lakeside (10-8, 404 NSL) teams are always dangerous offensively, with Kenyon Spotted-Horse scoring 19 points and Emmitt White 16 in a balanced scoring attack.

Bryant Moore had 11 points and seven rebounds, T.J. Henderson added eight points and six boards, Wade Stevens seven points, nine rebounds and three steals, and Josh Constantin eight points and six rebounds to lead the Wampus Cats (2-9, 2-6 NSL) in defeat.

Moore, Stevens, Henderson were honored on Senior Night, as the Cats were forced to play with just six players and ran out of gas in the second half.

Unfortunately, the Cats will most likely open the district tournament against No. 2 state ranked Genesis Prep, which has run roughshod over the rest of the North Star League this year.

Lakeside 25 15 22 23 — 85

Clark Fork 17 18 13 15 — 63

CLARK FORK — Banks 29, Stevens 7, Moore 11, Henderson 8, Constantin 8, Heisel 0.
