More roads face weight restrictions

SANDPOINT — Road weight limits have been placed on more county roads. As a result, no early morning hauling will be allowed on any Bonner County maintained road posted with weight limits.

District 1 (south of the Long Bridge) — The following roads are posted with weight limits; Eureka Road, Martin Bay Road, E. Comeback Bay Lane, Comeback Bay Lane, Birch Banks Road, Hanford Drive , Jones Road, Tweedie Road, Saunders Road, Roberts Lane, Old House Road, Bayview Road, Pinewood Lane and Ferry Road. Effective Monday morning, Feb. 5, all roads will be posted with weight limits.

District 2 (Priest River/Priest Lake) —All roads from Dickensheet south (including Dickensheet) were posted with weight limits by 4 p.m. Friday.

District 3 (Sandpoint / Clark Fork) — All roads will be posted with weight limits except for Upper Pack River Road and all roads east of E. Spring Creek, (including E. Spring Crk) through Clark Fork.

It is the responsibility of the hauler to contact Bonner County Road & Bridge to determine whether or not these restrictions are in place.

These restrictions will remain in effect until changed, at which time updates will be posted.
