Denise Marie Lynskey

| February 7, 2018 12:00 AM

Denise Marie Lynskey will not be at work today — she has passed at the age of 59 after a battle with chemo and breast cancer.

Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, February 9, 2018, at the Sandpoint Church of the Nazarene. Pastor Chad Wilks will be conducting the services.

She is survived by all whose lives she touch and who touched hers.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Rick D. Lynskey of Sandpoint; her father, Roland J Swann of Finksburg, Maryland; her brothers, William R. Swann of N.J. and Joseph R. Swann of Forest Hill, Maryland; and Tenley Swann. She is also survived by her niece, Chelsea Marie Swann and nephews, Connor Swann and Dillon Swann. She is also survived by her three brothers-in-law, Alan (Ginny) of Nampa, Idaho, Marlin and Gary Lynskey of Boise, Idaho; and her bestest friend of 46 years, Leslie Orr Roll; and her four-legged baby, Daisy Mae.

Denise graduated from Bel Air High School in 1976. She was employed for 19 years at Becton Dickinson in Hunt Valley, Maryland, before moving to Sandpoint, Idaho, in 1997. She worked her way from the ground up at Coldwater Creek where she loved her job in inventory planning for catalog. After leaving Coldwater Creek in 2010, she pursued a position with Bonner General Health in the Rehab Department, another job that she dearly loved. It was always because of the people she worked with that she loved her job so much.

Her greatest enjoyments in life were her husband, Rick; and her dog, Daisy Mae. She loved to garden and had the greenest of thumbs. To honor her love of flowers we ask that you send flowers all colors and types other than lilies (she was allergic). All flowers afterward will go to patients at Bonner General, Life Care Center, Luther Park and Assisted Living. Any flowers that are perennials or bulbs should be planted at the Healing Garden at Bonner General. Donations can be made in her name to Celebrate Life in Sandpoint or Community Cancer Services in Sandpoint.

Family and friends are invited to sign Denise’s online guestbook at coffeltfuneral.com

Arrangements have been placed in the care of Coffelt Funeral Service of Sandpoint.
