Woods celebrate 70 years of marriage

Jim and Virginia Wood celebrated 70 years of marriage with a party attended by family and friends at Western Pleasure Guest Ranch.
Jim and Virginia were married in Sandpoint at the Methodist parsonage on Jan. 1, 1948.
As children, Jim and Virginia attended the Gold Creek School, after marriage, they continued to live on Upper Gold Creek where they farmed, ranched and raised their family. Their love for each other and the legacy they have created was celebrated by all in attendance.
