Bulldogs host Bears tonight

| February 9, 2018 12:00 AM

SANDPOINT — The No. 1 seed Bulldogs and No. 2 seed Bears will renew old acquaintances tonight, with the Bulldogs playing for a spot in the state tournament in game two of the best-of-three 4A Region 1 girls basketball tournament, with tip off at 6 p.m. at Les Rogers Court.

The Bulldogs (13-8) have beaten the Bears (8-10) three times already this season, winning 39-35, 62-56 (OT), and 56-50 to take game one of the series, which now moves to Sandpoint. A win tonight and the Bulldogs punch their ticket to state, while a loss would lead to a deciding game three on Saturday, at 6 p.m. in Sandpoint.

Bob Witte will call tonight’s game live on AM1400, which is also available online.
