Excessive fumes (bad smell) was reported in the 300 block of S. Ella Avenue at 9:36 a.m.

Accidental 911 activation was reported on Cedar Street at 8:56 a.m.

A 15-year-old female was transported to JDU to serve a detention order at 10:38 a.m.

An officer responded after a complaint of tree branches hanging over/obstructing the sidewalk in the 300 block of S. Fourth Avenue at 11:27 a.m.

A 16-year-old Sandpoint male was issued a promise to appear in the 600 block of Larch Street at 12:26 p.m. on a charge of petit theft.

A resident in the 700 block of N. Division was referred to the school resource officer at 12:32 p.m.

A civil protection order violation was reported in the 4000 block of N. Boyer Road at 1:13 p.m.

A vehicle in the 4200 block of Samuelson Avenue was tagged for 48-hour removal at 3:57 p.m.

A citizen in the 1200 block of Oak Street wanted advice at 3:46 p.m on how to get her loaned vehicle back.

A reporting party seeking assistance left the police department lobby in the 1100 block of W. Lake Street at 5:23 p.m. before an officer could contact her.

Report of a hit-and-run accident on Kinnikinnik Avenue at 4:52 p.m.

Quincy G Culp, 32, of Sandpoint, was cited in the 800 block of Fifth Avenue at 10:28 p.m. on a charge of driving without privileges.

Johnathan I. Allen-Noble, 18, of Oldtown, was cited in the area of Highway 2 and Westwood Drive at 11:40 p.m. on charges of possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.

Officers escorted a long load through the city at 1:35 a.m.
