Deputies responded to a reported suspicious circumstances on N. Third Avenue at 1:14 a.m.

Report of a reckless driver in the area of Highway 95 and Butler Creek Spur Road in Cocolalla at 2:30 a.m.

Report of a welfare check on Grouse Creek Cutoff Road at 4:16 a.m.

SANDPOINT POLICE

Feb. 1

After a welfare check request at 8:33 a.m, an officer advised that law enforcement assistance was no longer needed in the 2400 block of Aspen Way.

An officer answered a citizen’s questions regarding a business in the 200 block of N. First Avenue at 8:25 a.m.

A bicycle was abandoned in the 600 block of S. Lincoln Avenue at 8:15 a.m.

Officers located the owner of a vehicle broken down in a parking lot in the 100 block of N. First Avenue at 8:59 a.m.

An officer contacted a male reported to be yelling at passing vehicles in the Madison Avenue area at 10:17 a.m.; he stated he was just singing along to the music.

Two 14-year-old juveniles, one male and one female, were cited in the 400 block of S. Division Avenue at 11:01 a.m on charges of minor in possession of alcohol.

Richard K. Borja, 27, of Hope, was cited in the area of Spruce Street and Forest Avenue at 2:51 p.m. on a charge of driving without privileges (second offense).

Officers contacted a male on Main Street at 5:39 p.m.; he was given a courtesy transport to BGH.

A debit card was reported found in the 1100 block of Michigan Street at 6:11 p.m.

An officer answered a citizen’s questions in the 600 block of Church Street at 6:17 p.m.

Possible sex offenses reported in the city at 9:20 p.m. were determined to have occurred outside the city limits; call transferred to the county.

Austin C Jackson, 19, of Sandpoint, was cited in the area of Oak Street and Forest Avenue at 10:14 p.m. on a misdemeanor charge of no insurance.

Feb. 2

Officers escorted an oversized load through town at 12:23 a.m.

Officers located a BGH patient’s vehicle at 1:14 a.m. to make sure he had not been involved in a collision.

An officer contacted a male and female in the 400 block of N. Fourth Avenue at 1:45 a.m. The male was trying to prevent the female from driving drunk. A relative was contacted, who took them home.

An officer checked on a female in the 4200 block of Samuelson Avenue after a 911 hang-up at 4 a.m.; no battery occurred.

Feb. 1

An officer responded to the 476900 block of Highway 95 in reference to an animal problem reported at 12:28 p.m.

An officer responded to a report of a reckless driver in the Highway 200 area at 2:38 p.m.

An officer responded to the 200 block of Larkspur Street in reference to a lock out at 2:28 p.m.

An officer received a report at 3:36 p.m. of a past disorderly that occurred in the 200 block of Larkspur Street.

An officer responded to a theft report in the 476900 block of Highway 95 at 7:37 p.m.
