(Courtesy photo) Representatives of Martha Chapter No. 34, Order of the Eastern Star in Sandpoint were proud to present Selkirk Fire District a check for $300 to benefit their discretionary fund. The purpose of this fund is to assist those in need, for any reason, at the discretion of fire personnel. This is in line with the mission of the Order of the Eastern Star, so therefore, enhanced their pleasure in contributing, Eastern Star members said in a statement.
