OK Lanes leading in loopers league action

OLDTOWN — OK Lanes took over the lead to sit atop the Wednesday night loopers league with a 277.5-223.5 records, just a half-point above Woodwise, which has a records of 277-227. In third is McCroskey Defense, 269-219.

Following next are Why Try Harder, 248.5-255.5; Club Rio, 245.5-255.5; Pin Ups, 245.5-132.5; and Win/Lose We Booz, 224-276.

Thomas White rolled a 243 high scratch game and a 270 high handicap game. Wes Griffin rolled a 605 high scratch series and a 686 high handicap series. McCroskey Defense rolled a 722 high team scratch game and Why Try Harder bolwed a 858 high handicap game. McCroskey Defense also rolled a 2,010 high team scratch series and OK Lanes rolled a 2,297 high handicap series.

Converted splits included Evie Logan 5-6; Mel Logan 4-5-7; Tom Hoisington Jr. 4-7-8-10.

White notches great a night of bowling

Before diving into who sits atop the Lucky Ladies league, first a congratulations to Sally White, who rolled 80 pins over her average at this past week’s action.

No Pins Left continued its reign at the top of the Lucky Ladies league with a 56-32 record. Sitting in second is Behind Country with a 50-38 record, followed by Lane Morning with a 45 1/2-42 1/2 record. Following next are Glories Sparklers, 42 1/2-45 1/2; Golden Girls, 37 1/2-50 1/2; and Balls-y Broads, 32 1/2-47 1/2.
