The Kaniksu Land Trust is a thief, they are stealing the lunch money from school children. I will explain: The 160-acre Pine Street property, Kaniksu Land Trust is buying (with other people’s money) will be a land trust easement that is free from most local and state property taxes. They property will never be developed and will not pay property taxes in support of Bonner County schools, roads, library and any other services to the people of Bonner county. They are taking the lifeblood out of the peoples’ body.

I have no problem with parks or public lands (Forest Service), etc. About 80 percent of the property in Bonner County is state or federal land and open to the public. We, the people, have a say in how our public lands are managed and used. We do no have a vote in the management of this 160 acres on upper Pine Street.

The Kaniksu Land Trust is stealing from the taxpayers of Bonner county. However, stealing from the pubic treasuries is not a crime; it’s an art form to the liberal-progressive minded.

God bless our service and God bless America.
