It’s that time of year again at First Lutheran Church. Following Ash Wednesday, which marked the beginning of the Lenten (pre-Easter) season, the church invites the community to gather for its “Soup Suppers.”

On Wednesdays — Feb. 21, and 28 and March 7 and 14,) the congregation will gather at 6 p.m. for the suppers followed by Lenten worship services. All who would like are invited to attend.

This Sunday, at 9 a.m., Ann and Evan Dickenson, representing the Design for Change group from Washington Elementary, will present their project and trip to Spain at 9 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall at First Lutheran. Also at this time the Confirmation students will let folks in on the work they are doing in addressing.
