SANDPOINT — The First Presbyterian and Cedar Hills churches are pleased to offer a half-day retreat on Christian contemplative prayer set for Saturday, March 3.

The retreat will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church,417 N. Fourth Ave. The retreat team members presenting are Pastor Andy Kennaly, Pastor Colin Moody, Deborah Dickerson and Sharon Anderson.

The Awakening to God Retreat is for anyone, experienced or new to contemplative practices. Between Ash Wednesday and Easter, here is an opportunity during Lent to come to a quiet, sacred space and explore various practices of Christian contemplation and meditation. All levels of experience are welcome to participate.
