A residential burglary alarm was reported in the E. Cavanaugh Bay Road area in Coolin at 9:28 p.m.

Report of a theft on Whispering Pines Road in Sagle at 9:57 p.m.

Report of a 911 hang-up in the 1000 block of Colburn-Culver Road at 9:48 p.m.

A suspicious circumstance was reported on Sunrise Circle in Sagle at 3:24 a.m.

SANDPOINT POLICE

Feb. 8

An officer checked on a resident in the 100 block of S. Lincoln Avenue at 5:12 a.m. but found nothing out of the ordinary.

Officers responded for a welfare check on Oak Street at 9;12 a.m.

Report of suspicious circumstances on Hickory Glen Avenue at 9:52 a.m.

Amy L. Bailey, 41, of Sandpoint, was arrested in the 900 block of Sixth Avenue at 11:11 a.m. on a charge of obstructing/delaying an officer and cited on a charge of assault after a verbal altercation.

Report of suspicious circumstances on Pine Street at 11:58 a.m.

A follow-up report was taken in the area of Sixth and Main at 11:41 a.m.

Racist hate mail was reported in the city at 11:44 a.m.

A battery reported in the 300 block of Halley Street was placed under investigation at 12:07 p.m.

Officers assisted EMS on a call in the Larch Street area at 3:41 p.m.

An officer assisted at the scene of a non-injury accident in the 476000 block of Highway 95 at 4:26 p.m.

No vehicles were blocking the driveway in the 2300 block of Shady Oak Lane when the officer arrived at 6:04 p.m. after a complaint of a parking violation.

A citizen found a dog in Sandpoint and took it to the shelter at 5:48 p.m.

Officers contacted a transient male who missed his train and requested monetary assistance in the Bridge Street area at 6:42 p.m.

A female juveniles was located after taking off from the courthouse on S. First Avenue at 7 p.m.

Officers contacted a male in the Halley Street area at 7:41 pm. who had been trying to instigate fights in various areas of Sandpoint. He was issued a verbal warning, since no one wanted to press charges.

An unwanted male left the area of the pre-100 block of Bridge Street at 9:16 p.m. before the officer arrived.

An officer assisted the county on a call on Highway 95 in the Sagle area at 9:21 p.m.

Threats were reported on Cedar Street at 10:52 p.m.

Feb. 8

An officer responded to an abandoned vehicle in the 100 block of McManus Lane at 11:48 a.m.

Report of a 911 hang-up in the Highway 95 area at 3:35 p.m.

An officer responded to a two-vehicle, non-injury collision in the 476000 block of Highway 95 at 4:26 p.m.

An officer assisted Sandpoint Police in the area of Ontario and Lincoln. at 5:48 p.m.

An officer responded to a 911 hang-up in the 200 block of Bonner Mall Way at 6:33 p.m.

An officer responded to a commercial alarm in the 477100 block of Highway 95 at 8:44 p.m.
