7B Women Conference around the corner

The 7B Women Conference is right around the corner, and it’s an event you won’t want to miss!
From the same group that raised nearly $20,000 for the community with its Clothing Swap and Boobs and Beer Fun Run and Oktoberfest, The 7B Women’s Conference on Thursday, March 1, promises to be fun and inspirational. Taking place at the Sandpoint Center from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., it is a full day of speakers, vendors, networking, and breakfast and lunch provided by Tango Café. A gathering at Pend d’Oreille Winery will cap off the inspiring day.
Sherri Lies is the chair of the 7B Women’s Conference and is thrilled with the topics and speakers she and her committee have lined up. “I think this year will be better than ever,” said Lies, who adds that some of the raffle proceeds from the event will help fund scholarships for ongoing education for members of 7B Women.
Lissa Markwardt, MB is an international certified life coach who will present on “How to Fall in Love with Your Life.” It guarantees to be an inspirational talk on how, instead of simply surviving your life, you can choose to really live and embrace it.
“Our morning will also include a panel of speakers on the topic of Healthy Habits for a Kick Ass Life,” said Lies. “We will have health and fitness coach Missi Balison, Teresa Lunde, a loan advisor with American Pacific Mortgage, and Brianna Thoreson, a licensed clinical social worker. The three will share an interactive talk on just how to achieve greatness in your personal life in several aspects including fitness and health, financial stability and maintaining healthy relationships.”
7B Women committee member Alice Sloane said the keynote speaker, nationally known Jean Briese, is a motivational speaker who has impacted audiences throughout the country. Her topic, Discovering Your Inner Super Hero, is something from which we all can benefit.
