Scott Allen Spalding, 44, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018, in Sandpoint, Idaho.
Memorial services will be held at noon on Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2018 at Cedar Hills Church, where they are members, with Pastor Eric Rust officiating.
Scott was born in Bellevue, Wash., on March 8, 1973, to Geri and Beverly Spalding.
He grew up and attended schools in North Bend.
He graduated from Mount Si High School in 1991, where he played basketball. He then attended the University of Wash-ington. He studied mathematics and then went on to receive his bachelor’s degree in accounting.
Scott married Sally Knodel on Aug. 28, 2010, in Issaquah, Wash. They made their home in Sandpoint, where Scott owned his accounting business and together they own Salon Luxe.
Scott loved to care for others and his greatest joy was spending time with Sally and the kids. He enjoyed playing in Hoopfest, Sunday open gym, poker, and golf. He was also a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Husky basketball.
He is survived by his wife, Sally Spalding of Sandpoint; five children, Jaxon, Carmen, Cooper, Camden, and Brooks; his parents, Geri (Elaine) Spalding of Duvall, Wash., and Beverly Spalding of Covington, Wash; one brother, Bryan (Mary) Spalding of Duvall, and their children Jordan and Easton.
Also surviving are Sally’s parents, Ron and Linda Knodel; sister-in-law, Sydel (Jeremy) McKim and their kids Bailey, Hunter and Samuel.
