Woodwise has strong night to reclaim loopers league lead
OLDTOWN — Woodwise reclaimed the lead to again sit atop the Wednesday night loopers league, ending Feb. 14 action with a record of 288-237. Also having a strong night of bowling to take over second place was McCroskey Defense, ending the night with a 284-225 record. Third is OK Lanes, which finished the week with a 277.5-228.5 record.
Following next are Club Rio, 262.5-259.5; Why Try Harder, 254.5-270.5; Pin Ups, 249.5-149.5; and Win/Lose We Booz, 234-287.
Floyd Degele rolled a 217 high scratch game and a 253 high handicap game. Gene Brown rolled a 593 high scratch series as well as a 674 high handicap series. Club Rio rolled a 754 high team scratch game and an 875 high handicap game. McCroskey Defense rolled a 2,105 high team scratch series and a 2,432 high handicap series.
Converted splits included Mandy Aubrey, 2-7; John Hastings, 3-10; and Tom Hoisington Jr., 3-10 and 2-4-10.

No Pins Left continued to sit at the top of the Lucky Ladies league with a 60-32 record. Sitting in second is Country Lane with a 50-42, followed by Morning Glories with a 48 1/2-43 1/2 record in third place. Following next are Sparklers, 43 1/2-48 1/2; Golden Girls, 40 1/2-51 1/2; and Balls-y Broads, 331/2-501/2.
