Class offers tips on self-publishing

K.S. Brooks, award-winning novelist and author of over 30 books, will present “Introduction to Self-Publishing” on Friday, Feb. 23 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Spokane Community College facility,1204 W. Fifth St., Newport.

If you have written a book or are thinking of writing one but don’t know the next step, learn how to self-publish from K.S. Brooks, one of the industry’s top authorities. Avoid getting scammed by predatory publishers and maintain control over your finished product. This 2-hour class will cover everything from producing a quality book to becoming a published author.
