Input sought on water reuse permit

SPIRIT LAKE — The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality is seeking public comment on a draft water reuse permit modification for the city of Spirit Lake in Kootenai County.

The permit modification would add 23 irrigation acres to the city’s reuse system located about one mile northwest of Spirit Lake in Bonner County.

Written comments on the draft permit modification will be accepted through March 8 at 5 p.m.

The draft permit modification and staff analysis are available for public review at DEQ’s Coeur d’Alene regional office and on DEQ’s website.
