A K9 deputy assisted Boundary County Sheriff with the execution of a search warrant on Kootenai Street in Bonners Ferry at 11:34 a.m.

Report of information in the 472000 block of Highway 95 at 11:39 a.m.

A traffic hazard was reported on the 20000 block of Highway 57 in Priest River at 1:17 p.m.

Request for a citizen assist on Boomtown Drive in Athol at 1:18 p.m.

A welfare check was requested on the 10000 block of Eastside Road in Priest River at 2:04 p.m.

Report of a non-injury accident in the 11000 block of Baldy Mountain Road at 2:43 p.m.

Report of a VIN inspection in the 200 block of Winterberry Way in Sandpoint.

Report of a sex offense in the county at 3:49 p.m.

Deputies assisted Newport Police in the recovery of a stolen vehicle in the area of Highway 2 and N. State Avenue in Oldtown at 4:09 p.m.

An adult male was reported as missing in the 600 block of Mackie’s Way at 5:11 p.m.; he was later located by the county.

Report of a possibly impaired driver of Dufort Road in Sagle at 5:45 p.m.

Report of a traffic hazard in the 476000 block of Highway 95 a 5:46 p.m.

Report of an alarm on Roofing Road in Sagle at 5:51 p.m.

Report of a traffic hazard on Evergreen Road at 7:30 p.m.

A follow-up report was taken on Mountain View Road in Blanchard at 7:24 p.m.

A deputy assisted Priest River Police with a DUI arrest in the Highway 2 area at 8:55 p.m.

SANDPOINT POLICE

Feb. 15

The owner of property on Chestnut Street was given two days to clear the sidewalks at 7:40 a.m. before a citation would be issued.

A VIN was verified in the 1400 block of N. Boyer Avenue at 8:55 a.m.

Numerous vehicles were tagged for snow removal around Sandpoint at 9:11 a.m.

An officer was canceled prior to arrival in the 200 block of S. Florence Avenue after an alarm was reported at 10:22 a.m.

A non-reportable collision occurred in the 600 block of Fifth Avenue at 11:12 a.m.

An officer answered a citizen’s questions regarding snow removal in the area of N. Boyer Avenue and Oak Street at 3:44 p.m.

Stephen L. Gendro, 64, of Priest River, was arrested in the area of N. Boyer Avenue and Spruce Street at 8:50 p.m. on a charge of driving under the influence and cited on an invalid driver’s license charge.

Keys were reported taken in the 500 block of N. Third Avenue at 8:39 p.m.

Michael H Fritz, 22, of Sandpoint, was arrested in the 1500 block of Oak Street at 9:45 p.m. on a charge of driving under the influence.

Report of a juvenile problem in the Oak Street area at 9:45 p.m.

Possible fraud was reported in the 4000 block of N. Boyer Road at 10:57 p.m.

A case was assigned to cover an agency assist on Mackie’s Way at 11:59 p.m.
