B&B planned near Jewel Lake

SAGLE — The Bonner County Planning & Zoning Commission is conducting a public hearing on a proposed bed and breakfast near Jewel Lake.

The hearing is set for 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 15. It’s being held at the Bonner County Administration Building at the corner of U.S. Highway 2 and Division Avenue in Sandpoint.

Betty Sue Carter and Heidi Hampe are seeking conditional use permit approval for the business on a 20-acre parcel off Kirpals Way, a U.S. Forest Service Road.

A Bonner County Planning Department staff report will be posted to the county’s website (bonnercounty.us) a week before the public hearing.
