Report of a theft of mail in the area of Hoo Doo Mountain and Curtis Creek roads in Priest River at 11:37 a.m.

Report of a non-injury, slide-off accident on Cocolalla Loop Road at 12:32 p.m.

A follow-up report was taken in the 4700 block of Highway 2 in Priest River at 12:28 p.m.

A 911 hang-up was reported in the 100 block of Forever View Road in Sagle at 12:39 p.m.

An alarm was reported on Pine Grove Road in Spirit Lake at 1:53 p.m.

A citizen assist was reported on N Boyer Road at 2:56 p.m.

Report of a hit-and-run accident in the area of Highway 95 and Pit Road in Sagle at 4:13 p.m.

Christopher Benedict, 54, of Sandpoint was arrested on charges of domestic battery and destruction of a telephonic device on Green-Timblin Lane at 5:12 p.m.

A deputy assisted Sandpoint Police in the 600 block of Jefferson Avenue at 6:20 p.m.

Report of a slide-off accident in the 32000 block of Highway 41 in Blanchard at 6:32 p.m.

Report of a 911 hang-up in the 464000 block of Highway 95 in Sagle at 6:45 p.m.

Report of unlawful entry on N. Washington Avenue in Oldtown at 8:39 p.m.

Report of a 911 hang-up in the 100 block of Holiday Loop Road in Blanchard at 12:12 a.m.

SANDPOINT POLICE

Dec. 25

A shoplifting incident was placed under investigation in the 400 block of Fifth Avenue at 9:53 a.m.

A resident in the 900 block of Ridley Village Road wanted to speak to an officer at 10:21 a.m. regarding an incident that occurred during the night.

A hit-and-run was placed under investigation in the 500 block of Alexander Way at 10:58 a.m.

Report of an accidental alarm activation in the 1500 block of Spruce Street at 12:21 p.m.

An officer located a male, who appeared in need of assistance in the area of Highway 2 and S. Division Avenue at 2:38 p.m; EMS was called for him.

An officer answered a citizen’s questions in the 300 block of St. Clair Avenue at 3:08 p.m.

A request for assistance by a resident on N. Boyer Road at 2:56 p.m. was handle by the county.

An officer was unable to locate a dog reported to be running at large in the 400 block of Lavina Avenue at 4:33 p.m.

Officers contacted residents in the 600 block of Jefferson Avenue after a complaint of an intoxicated person at 6:20 p.m.; they were advised to keep the noise down.

Accidental 911 activation was reported on Spruce Street at 10:07 p.m.

Dec. 26

A 911 hang-up call on Olive Avenue at 4:46 a.m. turned out to be a medical call; law enforcement assistance was not needed.

PONDERAY POLICE

Dec. 25

An officer responded to the 800 block of Kootenai Cutoff Road in reference to an animal problem reported at 4:55 p.m.

An officer assisted sheriff’s deputies in the 100 block of Green-Timblin Lane at 5:12 p.m.

PRIEST RIVER POLICE
