It is a humbling duty and honor to be identified by the liberal socialist progressives as their watchdog. As the saying goes all press is name recognition. The Lake Pend Oreille School District document requests, numbering approximately 45 in 2017 and of greater quantity in 2016 were submitted to understand why such a high levy amount was sought from taxpayers. LPOSD inferred the document requests cost thousands of dollars, when in reality approximately $287 and some opportunity cost were realized, according to LPOSD documents.

Though the colossal $55 million facility levy failed in 2016 simply on the weight of its abusive tax cost and bureaucratic narcissistic need, document requests evidenced that more than $90,000 was wasted in attempting to pass an allegedly fraudulent facility levy.

Fraud was identified throughout the levy process. Kendon Perry, the facility committee chair, stated that no expenses would be incurred prior to the Aug. 30 vote. Information specific to the architect’s selection and costs evidenced in the redactions, later obtained without redaction, demonstrate that the “consulting engineer (cost) (may or may not be needed immediately).” It was needed; ALSC’s July 29, 2016, invoice was paid on Aug. 12, 2016, prior to the election, $18,466, contrary to the previous report to the board of trustees. The project’s physical assessments of decrepit condition were stated on KRFY radio debate to be backed by a “licensed architect.” The “consultant” was not licensed.

LPOSD administration officials, including but not limited to, Superintendent Shawn Woodward and Chairman of the Board Steve Youngdahl allegedly engaged in willful obstruction of the transfer of material information to the public.

The documents don’t lie, people of socialist bureaucracies do.
