Every time I stop in the roundabout at Boyer and Larch to gaze at the art in the center, I get a honk and the hand signal that I’m number 1.
Totally besides myself waiting to view the new artwork to be installed at the Boyer and Schweitzer Cutoff Road location. At $130,000, it should warrant two honks and two fingers.
The city already has the chainsaw sculpture of legs and feet at City Hall, why not hire a chainsaw sculpture of a big arm and hand (with you-know-what extended) for the new roundabout art. Save a heck of a lot of money and would likely reflect the sentiment of a bunch of drivers who are too darn busy driving to look at art. Roundabout’s good; art and money wasted.
