Newport Health Center to offer free sports physicals

NEWPORT — Attention any and all Priest River athletes in need of a sports physical for the coming season: Free sports physicals will be offered at Newport Health Center (behind the main hospital building at 714 Pine St., building C) on Friday, Aug. 3 from 8:30 a.m. to noon.

Mark your calendar now to take advantage of this great deal, as high school and middle school athletes need current physicals to participate in sports. No appointment is necessary, but a parent or guardian must be present to provide consent.

Participants should wear loose-fitting clothing such as T-shirts or shorts. Physicals will be offered on a first come, first serve basis. Later sports physicals may be scheduled for $30.
