Kenneth Lloyd Spracklen, 77

Kenneth Lloyd Spracklen, 77, passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2018, in Laclede, Idaho.

Viewing will be held at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at the Lakeview Funeral Home in Sandpoint, Idaho, followed by funeral services at 10 a.m. with Pastor Josh Jones officiating. Military honors and burial will follow at Pinecrest Ceme-tery.

Ken was born on March 8, 1941, in Sand-point to Lloyd and Helen Spracklen. He graduated from Sandpoint High School before serving his country in the United States Air Force. Ken married Cecelia Kallio in 1965; they made their home in Moscow, Idaho.

In 1983, Ken moved to Sandpoint and went to work for Encoder. He married Kathy Kurtz in 1990 and they lived in Laclede. Ken retired in 2004.

He enjoyed hiking, camping, and huckleberry picking. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Spracklen of Laclede; three children, Wade Spracklen of Maple Valley, Wash., Teresa Roberts of Ponderay, Idaho, and Krista (Robert) Vallelunga of Colorado Springs, Colo.; seven grandchildren; and two sisters, Mary and Myrna.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert.
