(Courtesy photo) Nate Christiansen, left holding the flag, and Jonah Kolb joined more than 50 runners for the Freedom Fun Run in Clark Fork, which kicked off the July 4 festivities with a 5K run up scenic Lightning Creek. Proceeds from the event go toward scholarships for college-bound Clark Fork seniors and funding the operation of the Filling Station Youth Center in Clark Fork. The Filling Station is a large building with a full-sized gym, commercial kitchen, free clothing closet and large den area with several games.
