Annual event celebrates beer

The Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce is hosting its fifth annual Sandpoint Beerfest on Saturday, July 14, from noon to 5 p.m. at Trinity at City Beach, 58 Bridge St. The event is sponsored by Sweet Lou’s, Hendricks Architecture, and Ting Sandpoint.
With just under 1,000 beer lovers attending last year, Sandpoint Chamber officials are gearing up for their best year yet.
Beerfest is located on the lawn of Trinity at City Beach with unbeatable panoramic views of Lake Pend Oreille. It’s a chance for beer enthusiasts to enjoy craft brews and ciders from 16 regional breweries, food catered by Trinity at City Beach, and live music with Tennis as well as games, beer trivia, pretzel necklaces, and more.
VIP tickets are limited and will not be available for purchase at the door. A VIP ticket includes a commemorative Sandpoint Beerfest glass, eight tokens (good for eight samples or four full beers), an exclusive Beerfest T-shirt, a meal, a pretzel necklace, and a local brewery tour.
General admission includes a commemorative beerfest glass and six tokens. Price on the day of the event will be $25.
The maximum capacity for the event is 1,000 so buy your tickets in advance to ensure entry.
Brewers that will be in attendance include 12 String Brewing Co, Hunga Dunga Brewing Company, Laughing Dog Brewing, MickDuff’s Brewing Co., Waddell’s Brewpub & Grille, Rants & Raves Brewery, Payette Brewing Co., Trickster’s Brewing Company, LLC Post Falls Brewing Company, Wallace Brewing Company, and more to come. In addition, there will be hard cider from Summit Cider and Whiskey Barrel Cider, and non-alcoholic drinks (MickDuff’s Rootbeer) on hand as well.
Children may attend with their parent or guardian.
