Participants of the annual Jaceys Race take off from Sandpoint High School on Sunday, with both 5K and 1K options for runners or walkers. The community event raises money to help local families with children currently being treated for cancer, life-threatening or severe illness. This year Andrew Kimpel of Spokane won the 5K race in 15:11, just ahead of Sandpoints Matthew Burgstahler in 15:54.
