Four rescued after rollover crash Monday

WESTMOND — Four people were extricated from a single-vehicle rollover crash on U.S. Highway 95 Monday night, according to Selkirk Fire Rescue & EMS officials.

Firefighters were summoned to milepost 464, where a vehicle was found on its roof and the occupants trapped inside. Firefighters used the Jaws of Life to pry apart the wreckage away from the trapped occupants.

All four were taken to local hospitals. In addition to Selkirk Fire, Bonner County sheriff’s and EMS officials also responded.
